  2. Aug 03,  · Rush is a 'finesse' band for me - they oozed finesse from their very pores in any album up to and including Presto. Roll The Bones was a bit of a letdown, and by the time Alex's power chords started becoming overused (Counterparts) and Geddy's voice didn't cut through so easily (also Counterparts) they were no longer my #1 band.
  3. Jan 13,  · For many, but not all, Rush albums the original Mercury CD's sound closest in tone to the vinyl. As do the MFSL's except for , and of course the missing parts of Weapon from Signals. As Power Windows goes no CD's issue I've ever heard is in the same league as the vinyl but the original Mercury seems to be the best of a bad digital lot.
